I'm having a hard time staying awake in class?!

Question: I get plenty of sleep (7-8hrs/ night) eat right, and exercize relatively well concidering I'm a college student. Does anyone have any tricks or food that they recomend that I try to help boost my energy level throughout the day? I have class from 11am-3pm every day with only 10 minute breaks to get to class every hour. I eat a good breakfast before class starts and bring something to snack on later (almonds and dried fruit) if I get hungry before class lets out. However, mid way through my second class of the day (even though the subject is quite interesting to me) I find myself nodding off. This cycle continues throughout the rest of my day. I don't do energy drinks or shots, so I'd prefer it be as natural as possible. Any advice is helpful! Thanks!

Have you tried coffee - Starbucks ? lol I really think you should go tell your doctor. He could do a blood test and see if there is anything going on with you. It could be more serious than you think. You could also go to Vitamin World or a health food store. Good luck to you !

Wow. You do a lot more than what a lot of college students do, and a lot healthier too! I would probably take a multivitamin...and you know, that time frame from 1-3 PM is always the worst, after your body has eaten and wants to go into sleep mode. I usually drink a lot of water, stay hydrated, and occasionally do stretching excericise to keep my body from feeling like a rock.
