HELP. . . I have migraines all the time???!
Question: I have migraines so bad that they actually cause me to vomit. I get them at least once a month and they last no shorter than a week and a half. . . what do I do? I have a seen a doctor and all they give me is drugs to dope me up and then send me home. . . they havent given me anything to get rid of them all the time!!!

If you get migraines every month that last a week and a half, the doctors should be giving you medications to try and prevent them and not to make you feel doped up. I use to get them almost everyday until I was put on Topomax, which has helped out a lot. You should try a pain doctor or neurologist and see if they can give you a RX to help prevent them instead of drugs to take when you get them.

I get them too, i have the "classic migranes". My doctor gave me imitrex but it didnt work. I actually had one that made me vomit last week. Let me know if you find any answers
