Kinda curious?!

Question: what exactly is an upper?

Answers: what exactly is an upper?

The term "uppers" generally refers to amphetamines, which speed up the body's central nervous system. Basically they "jack you up"

Examples of uppers would be: speed, meth, crack - that sorta stuff.

An illegal prescription drug (usually black market prescription or stolen).

It is usually a drug that gives you a happy high (anti-depressant or other). A downer is to relax you (like a muscle relaxer).

Both, either way, only lasts a short time and can be equally addictive. Horrible thing to even take.

Stop That!! Taking that many of anything is bad, but those OTC decongestants and antihistamines can give you a heart attack, just like that basketball player that died on the court of a heart attack.

I was injured in an auto accident by a drunk driver that also had taken a high dose of Sudafed. Thanks to him wanting to feel a 'buzz' I am disabled and have been in pain that changed my life forever.

I was the vice-president of an aerospace company with a family. As a result of the accident I finally had to go on disability.

Because of the stress of my situation I lost my family, went in debt for medical bills, and have to take 8 medications a day just to function. That was 10 years ago and I never will get any better.

All because someone wanted to catch a buzz. Do you really want to take the chance you may ruin someones life and your family??

I am in a pain management program for chronic pain. I have seen so many people that have just wanted to get buzzed and ended up with a serious problem. I have seen them ruin their lives and those of their families. I know first hand, my son is on probation for drugs. Do yourself a big favor and don't mess with Rx drugs. Hold your breathe until you feel light headed if you want a buzz. But please don't endanger everyone else.
