Drinking Water? Forcing yourself to drink fluids? Anybody have this problem?!


Question: Just curious if anybody else has this problem. I find myself going hours without drinking anything, and I think unless I had to take my medicine before bed and in the a.m. I could probably go without water, juice or anything. Its not that I am trying not to. I just have no desire or want to drink. Just curious. No smart A-s answers as I nor the other readers want to read them.......Thanks for your time!

I drink only one cup of tea in the morning and drink nothing else the whole day. I know how important it is to drink alot of water each day but drinking water can make me throw up. I hate water from a bottle or a tap. I don't do fruit juice or pop either.

catch myself all the time not drinking-making a habit to keep tall glass of iced tea with plenty of ice around that way drinking more water as ice melts

try drinking a flavored water like propel or special k has a good one it gets rid of that plain boring taste try something with not much suger

not me - I'm always crunching on ice - I have a glass right here right now. If you feel healthy and are eating good fruits and vegetables, they will have liquid in them - I guess try not to worry about it. Ask your doctor if it is a problem. I wish I had more of your problem because I drink way too much pop - I know that's not good for me.

I drink water like a fish! It took a long time to become aware of my need to drink more water and to stick to it. In time, I have come to make water my first choice when I'm thirsty.

However, new studies show that drinking juices and other healthy drinks gives a person all the hydration/liquids they need per day...

What I did is put a quart of water near me at all times. You would be amazed at how many times a day you will drink on it.
Many health problems are due to not enough water.

Please remember by adding things to water it is no longer a liquid, chemistry turns it into food within our bodies.

I have this problem too. But I find I'm more likely to drink cold water, so I keep bottles of water in the fridge all of the time. I also find if I leave bottles near where I'm working I'm more likely to hae a drink. Like while I'm using the computer at my desk if there is water available right next to me I'm mor elikely to drink it than if I had to go and get it. I thinkt he best thing is to make it so readily available that it's not even the slightest hassle. ALso at night, I sleep with a bottle of water next to me and have a sip any time I wake up. Also I find that I'm more likely to enjoy water if I squeeze a few drops of citrus into it like some lemon, orange or lime. Just gives it a bit of a tangy flavour and it's still healthy. Another way of making sure you drink water, is getting into the habit of having a drinkw ith every meal, and instead of choosing softdrink, just get some cool water to go with it.
