Coccyx Pain?!

Question: Hi i feel on my coccyx today and landed right on it now it really hurts when i walk or sit down is it possible that i have bruised it?

i have fallen on mine too a few years ago, eventually the pain will subside, i know it hurts........alot, its just bruised, but it can take upto 3 months, depending how you sit, lay, walk etc.

Yeah it's just bruised dude. I've done it a couple of times in the past. It'll be fine in a few days to a wk. Blo0dy painful tho eh!

Yes, and it is possible that you broke it. Go to the drug store and get an inflatable donut seat, and/or go to the doctor.

You could have easily bruised it or broken it, you will be quite uncomfortable either way for at least a couple of weeks but there is no way they can put a plaster on it! Sit on the softest things you can find until it's better.

I fell on mine a few years ago, and couldn't sit down for weeks, had to lie or stand. Was off work 6 weeks. Ended up having ultrasound at physiotherapy. Was recommended to walk as much as possible. Medics can't do much, even if you have broken coccyx.
