hi there this is nasty and very painful i totally sympathize it does sound like Plantar Fasciitis... I suffered for about 12 months and then went for a cortisone injection in my foot which i was dreading and had every right to be... it was excruiating having it done but touch wood that was last november and i havent had any bother since and i was told it would work and maybe only stay away for up to 12 weeks and then maybe i would need a repeat injection but like a say i havent as yet.... seconds maybe a minute or 2 of awful intense pain to get rid of that awful pain in my heel was worth it..mine used to be at its most painful when i got up out of bed in a morning.... but got to the point where it was agony all the time.... my weight wont of helped as i am over weight.. when i first read about Plantar Fasciitis, i laughed as it said on all the papers that it was an athletes complaint i thought that cant be me..haha but then i read dowen and it said if you are carrying extra weight or walk on that side more that could cause it aswell..... i hope you get it sorted i think anti inflammitries may help but as i am allergic to them that wasnt an option for me..... if it is Plantar Fasciitis it wont go away itself i wore shoe supports they are about 10 pound from the chemist just like a raised insole but then i had the injection... go to the gp and see what they say... good luck hope your rid of it soon

id say so yeah

yea!!

Of course!

You might have a condition called Plantar Fasciitis. Which causes pain and inflammation in the heel.
You will need to see your Gp

Yes you definitely should!!

It sounds like you have what they call a spur, they are in the heel area and are extremely painful. You need to see your doctor and have him put you on an antibiotic and possibly give you a cortisone shot in your heel to get it to heal. Also you can try soaking your foot in a tub with warm water and some Epsom salt in it. Good luck and hope it gets better soon.

All sorts of people get this pain on the spur of a heel.
My wife also like you awoke with this pain,so of to the doctors, the doctor advised her to go to a sports shop
and purchase a heel cushion. It seems lots of sports
people, especially runners get this sort of problem,
the heel cushion is helping and it has been two weeks since
this happened but thing are nearly back to normal.

Sounds like you have Plantar Fasciitis. I have had this, and believe me...I feel your pain. You should def have this checked out by your doc. Here's some info...http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/plantar...

Yes you should get it checked out.

Could be plantar fasciitis.
Or anything, really.
