Could i have a migrane?!

Question: I have a very bad headache, I have taken Tylenol about 2 1/2 hours ago. Could it be a migraine? What are the symtoms of a migraine? My head throbs if I move my eyes and/or neck and/or head too quickly. I also have a cough that sounds like it has mucus in it. Please, no smart-alecky answers. I seriously need help.

WHAT EVER MAY IT BE.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Massage is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

Sounds like sinusitis.

But seriously, shouldn't you ask a doctor

Sounds like a head cold to me. Migraine is a chemical imbalance in the brain. You either get spots in your eyes before the pain or you vomit. The pain is so bad it makes you tired but the pillow hurts your head. As a sufferer of migraine i wouldn't wish them on any one.

I get migraines, it feels like someone is hitting me over the head repeatedly, I have special medication for this, I have to lay in a dark room, with no noise and wait for it to go away, it seems like forever.

the cough sounds like a no.
a migraine usually makes a person unable to tolerate noise and light. and have nausea / vomiting and can last for days

The question you should be asking is;is college more important than your life?for when you die you wouldn't be neeing the college so please go and see a doctor with the little that you have please.if not see the doctor for the sake of the ones you love.

Sounds like a combo of things. You could have a sinus infection. If the facial area is in pain..along the nasal area, you could very well have Sinusitis. The sinus' could be very inflamed. If you can, get over to the Infirmary and see if they can help you with something! Good luck, my son's in college right now, and "its" going around!

I don't have migranes myself but my mum used to have them when she was young. She said the pain was severe on one side of her head. It sounds like you are having a bad flu. A painkiller taken with some very warm water and a few hours' sleep should cure it. If it persists, then get it checked out by your GP tomorrow.

When you are well enough to go out, go to the local Boots to see if they stock Tiger Balm. It works well for headaches and other aches. Just rub some on your temples and across the forehead. Another tip is get a bottle of medicinal oil from Chinese shops (try White Flower Embrocation). It's excellent for colds, flus, dizzy spells and headaches.

chances are if you are on the computer and are able to read this is not a migrane. It is a headache
