Will my knee surgery pain go away?!

Question: I had my patella stabelized by having my tendon in my knee parcially removed, holes drilled through my knee cap and the tendon put through and tied. I hurt it in gymnastics, i was almost elite. Now I can only play volley ball, my surgery was 8 months ago. about a week ago for the first time i forced my knee to bend all the way. it has been in excrusiating pain scince then, its hard just to walk around school. Will this pain continue? my mom is a nurse and says its gonna hurt forever. ANY tips, advice, answers will be greatly apreciated.

i dislocated my knee back in 1985. It stills hurt to this day. Please follow through on your physical therapy. I did go back to playing sports but was not longer as quick as before i had the injury. Your physical therapy is the key and building back the muscle and strength around the knee.

u need to rest

Time...Given time ..it will heal...will it be 100% ???
Depends...
Take it easy ..do your exercises/physical therapy as your were instructed. Be gentle with yourself.

In other words...no forcing.

Go back to your original surgeon, sounds like you subluxed the Patella. Use Ice and at minimum get back into a highly skilled rehab program to strengthen your leg.
