There has got to be someone else out there with Trigeminal Neuralgia?!
Question: or a small caliber handgun I can borrow?
Just teasing, of course, but if you have it, you will understand my dark humor.

My father has trigiminal neuralgia and has suffered greatly. But he is currently taking gabapentin and carbamezipine. It seems to keep it under control with only an occasional face pain.I hope this helps.

This is a very painful condition that usually causes sharp, shooting pains across the face and/or neck. Regular pain medicines often don't help. Some of the seizure medicines can help, as this is a nerve pain. If you haven't seen your doctor, please do. If you have and s/he didn't help, see a neurologist.
