Anything to help relieve a pulled muscle"?!


Question: I was recently playing " Ultimate frisbee" and i know i over exerted myself. I woke up this morning and im uber sore. My hips, the place behind my knee, and ill admit i didnt stretch at all before or after. So the soreness ill just have to deal with.
But the big pain is i Pulled my Left Groin Muscle.
Not fun. Any tricks of the trade to help relieve the pain, cuz i dont much of nothing right now.

The best thing i can suggest is that you ice it about 15 minutes a day and have a hot shower before bed. Give it at least 3 days if it is mild or a week depending how bad the injury is, it might be just strained b/c you said you didn't feel it when it happened. If you have to play sport use a heat pad or heat cream before play. Good Luck, if any question contact via email.

Put a heat pad over it. That's something i learned from a rehab center.

a massager from Walmart, witch hazel helps too-rub it on.
