depends on what type of delivery she had (vaginal, c section)...if she had a c section abdominal discomfort is common for the days following delivery.
she really needs to contact her physician. she might just have a boggy uterus...but talk to her doctor ASAP!
GET TO A DOCTOR OR ER! It could be appendicitis or kidney stones. GET CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY! Good Luck. >^..^<
could be bad, but also could be her uterus shrinking down back to size. feels like really bad period cramps. especially when you breastfeed. have her or you call the doctor, and if you cant, call your local hospital and ask them for a nurse hotline. good luck.
It's probably just her uterus contracting and shrinking. If she's worried about it, she should call her OB and make sure. But it sounds normal, so I wouldn't be worried.
