Does anyone have Migraine headaches with auras?!

Question: Mine comes with a blindspot in my eye, and quickly followed by numbing of my left hand, and then different parts of my face.

Anyway, there is a medication you can get prescribed, it starts with an "M" and it dissolves on your tongue and helps instantly-- Does anyone know the name of it? [or can you find it? I can't.]

I want to ask my doctor for it when I go to my appointment on Thursday because I think it will really help me. Thank you

I think the drug you are thinking of might be Mazalt sold as Rizatriptan tablets. Very expensive!

my aura includes my left eye twitching and i also get the "spot" i my vision, then the pain starts in my left shoulder. it creeps up my neck then into my head before it gets full blown. i know the med you are talking about, but i can't remember the mane either. i have taken it, but it did not help me, and it made me very hot. and i mean like skin coming off hot. but i have heard it works wonders for some people. i take fioricet. as soon as i have an aura i take it, and it stops it cold. the only down side is it makes you sleepy. i carry it with me everywhere, because if i wait until the migraine is full blown the fioricet does little to help.
