Why do my hands keep getting so stiff?? I'm only 23!?!

Question: My fingers go stiff if i use my computer mouse a lot. I assume it happens when your fingers are 'tired'. I'm in high school and we have to write a lot of essays- that sometimes is the cause too. Give your hands a rest, ask someone to give them a massage or put them in warm or cold water to soothe them. It can be arthritis- it is not just caused by cracking your knuckles, but i highly doubt you are suffering from it. If it still persists, see your doctor.

do you pop them...

see a doctor if it's a problem. could be early onset of arthritis or something more serious.

if you used to crack ur knuckels or still do alot it could be from that

my penis is stiff, and im only 4

Not enough information. I would assume that you are deficient in vitamins or some other necessary nutrient for your joints and tendons.

Play more video games...lol ..exercise your hands..there are many ways to do this..I'm sure you can think of somethings..just typing on keyboard helps me. Or take some Bayer.

if its stiff with pain, you might be developing arthritis, i'd personally want to get in to a doctor if it keeps progressing

Need a little more info on this one, like what is you occupation, do you do hair, have you injured you wrist before, or it could even be inherited, but it sounds like arthritis, or carpal tunnel, you doctor can do simple test to determine this...try rotating your wrist and stretching them by flexing your hands back and forth, it helps somewhat...and popping your wrist or knuckles will not lead to arthritis, that's a myth, the popping sound in air escaping from the joint.

I have Lupus and have pain in my joints - but not stiffness in both hands - mainly in my finger - always joint related. I checked out on the web and there are a variety of reasons for stiff hands.
