Why am I so sore?!

Question: I just got done working out, and I forgot to stretch afterwards and now I am really sore. How do I make this go away? Will steroids work?

When you work out, lactic acid build up in your muscles (it causes the hot, stinging feel in your muscles). So, stretching helps get rid of the lactic acid build up. If you work out without stretching after, the lactic acid is still in your muscles and you will be very sore. Just stretch a bit now and you should b fine in a day or two.

If you haven`t worked out in a while, you`ll surely be sore.
Steroids won`t to a damn think for your soreness.
Soak in a hot bath. :]

Just relax. sit down.stretch a little bit at a time...or saok in a hot bath!!!
...AND STAY AWAY FROM THE STEROIDS!

Do not take steroids. Try soaking in a hot tub or taking a hot shower. Stretch your sore muscles in the hot water. Take ibuprofen.

try to look for recovery type powder supplements, or steriods for fun

the soreness could be due to lactic acid that developed in your body while exercising. it causes intense aching after working out (i'm experiencing it right now...).

the fact that you didn't stretch afterward could be a reason as to why you're so sore. try soaking in a hot bath, or even going for a walk.

steroids? what are you an idiot. ugh im disgusted.

after working out you can still stretch out at home......i do it all the time to save time. avoid steroids. you are on the right track. soreness however will stay with you for three days no matter what ...especially if you haven't used those muscles in awhile. I do this quit often myself, so keep it up and good luck.
