I have had what you have for almost ten years. I had physical therapy, chiropractor, osteopath, massage therapy, acupuncture, and Reiki. Probably some other therapy I can't remember too, oh yeah, traditional neurologist. Ha!!! The only thing that ever REALLY helped was deep tissue massage and Rolfing(look it up on Internet), along with a healthy diet, proper rest(and yes your sleeping posture and patterns affect your symptom greatly). Every one you see will try to label what you have. Take an AN-SAID like naproxen (Aleve) or ibuprofen. Use heat packs alternating with cold packs along your spine. Traction at the physical therapy office helped along with all the above. I hope you have insurance!?Watch your posture while your sitting, standing ,driving. You should try to always keep your chin tucked down toward your chest while driving. Abdominals have a huge role in holding up your spine, strengthen them. Be patient...

I buprofen (Neurofen) stops inflamation and should ease pain. Physiotherapy may also be an option.

Try physio as there is no knowing how long the nerve will remain trapped.

Zydol. But it's not a cure just a painkiller. I have suffered from it for years.

Nerve compression of any kind - I would go to my chiropractor who would clear that out in about one minute (literally).

A pinched nerve can be such a nuisance, not to mention painful, as well. I happen to choose chiropractic as my primary healing modality.

I do this because I have an excellent chiropractor who also studied deep tissue massage and nerve compression.

I don't know how many times I have gone to him and he has cleared out my issue in less than one minute, and I have been able to leave his office without the stuff that I brought into it.

If this did not work, I would not use it, but it has shown itself very effective and he is actually my primary care physician in the sense that he is my first line of defense regarding about 95% of what might ail me at any given moment.

Thanks to him, I enjoy exceptionally good health.

i fell down the stairs 17 years ago and trapped the nerve in my lower back,i've had physio, painkillers, tens machines on it and nothing has helped, sorry to dissapoint you but for me its agony even today.
