I dont really think you can just STOP it coming back, but try keeping warm or having hot baths, hot water bottles when you do have back pain and perhaps exercise to strengthen your muscles in your back?

don't do any sudden dance moves

Depends on the cause. There are good low back exercises that help, and learning proper "body mechanics" -e.g. lifting right, not turning and lifting, will help.

If you are able, it is a good idea to strengthen your abdominal muscles so that you are using them instead of your back. Also, it helps if you maintain good posture when sitting and standing. A good bed helps, too!

Simple exercises are best. Lie down flat and raise your leg 45 degrees up count up to 5 . Bring down slowly. do the same the other leg. Then do the same with both legs Repeat the same way with 90 degrees. Also strech ur legs and do the bending exercises. B Pain will vanish. Wish u speedy recovery.
