What can i do to relax my calf muscle which a stretched yesterday?!


Question: it is still in pain and i cannot move my leg as much. This happens to me quite frequently so i was wondering how i can relax the muscle after it has happend.

Your calf is probably just cramping or tight. Roll a rolling pin back and forth on it to help loosen it. If that still doesnt help it, ice for 15min with a 5min break, then switch to heat for 15min to get more blood moving through your calves.

give it a few drinks and play some soft music that should unwind it.

Try not to walk on it and do the RICE method. Rest-Ice-Compression-Elevation. Put some ice on it and elevate it on a couch or something. It works. Also, if you have medical tape, tape it up. You can buy medical tape from cvs or walgreens.

When you start to feel it strech, get on ur but then pull ur toes toward your body. This will help not make it hurt as much afterwards. Then afterwards ice it and elevate it.
