I just burned the hell out of my thumb, what should I put on it?!

Question: Cool water, aloe gel, and a light bandage. But don't pop the blister.

Feel better, and good luck!

run it under warm water. it'll sting like hell but it takes the sting out of it.

if its not a serious burn just run it under cold water and put some burn cream on it. Keep it covered and moist and dont expose it to the air as this burns it more. just put a gauze or band aid over it with burn cream until it heals. But make sure you dont have any open skin as it may become infected.
Hope this helps! :-)

Wash it with cold water.

Try applying 'ICE' will also help to apply organic coconut oil, which has a fantastic healing ability; Organic coconut oil is always great to have on hand, it's healing properties are phenomenal...we use it for all kinds of things; cooking, skin application, add to my pets diets, apply to skin infractions/irritations etc...check it out! But applying ICE is first & basic immediate first aid...

Run it under cool water...NO BUTTER!!!!! Lightly bandage it and DO NOT POP THE BLISTER!

don't put anything on it putting antiseptic cream or such like just traps heat in keep it underneath cold tap for as long as you can

Run it under cold water. They have creams for burns that help with pain you can buy and put gauze around it also. Take tylenol, if it blisters don't pop it then it will really be sore. If it is really bad call your Dr.

put it under the cold tap for 10 mins
and then wrap it in cling film loosly
and then go A&E
or if you dont want to go a&e then put some cream on it or go to your gp

remove from heat source.

Immerse in cool water immediately for at least 20 minutes. This will help providing you do it within the first 30 minutes after the burn.

Do NOT use ice. This could make it worse.

After the cooling, if the skin is blistered or broken- cover it with cling film and attend nearest ED or A+E. If skin is intact then this is probably not necessary.

Take adequate pain relief -- and take it again in about 4-6 hours time.

Some dettol.
