My feet hurts while riding the RipStik, Why?!

Question: ok, just as the title suggests, my feet hurt when I ride my RipStik. I ride up and down the hill I live on *sidewalks of course* and after peddling alot my feet begin to hurt in the middle, like a sharp pain as if my feet are under extreme stress, how can I stop this? I LOVE MY RIPSTIK!

i don't ride a ripstik, i ride The Wave, but when i first started out it just took my muscles a little time to get used to riding. it's just like anything, if you haven't used those muscles before then they are just gonna get a little sore as the muscles grow and you get more used to using them. and we all know that the motion used for street surfing is a new motion for a lot of people at first.
i can ride now for hours without feeling sore or anything. ALSO, when i tried the ripstik it felt different and not as smooth as The Wave, the torsion bar in the center is longer so i think it changes the motion slightly causing a less smooth ride, more pain, in my opionion... My advice would be to pick up a waveboard or at least check out www.thewave.com to see more about what i'm sayin'.
be sure to stretch before you ride, and try moving your feet around on the deckplates, don't always keep them in one spot!!! that will def help...

hope that helps out, see ya on the streets!!!

Your muscles...are probably getting bigger, it's like an exercise. I have one too! They're big fun! Except mine is The Wave.
