I Have A Question About This Feeling In My Veins?!

Question: If I could feel my veins (because I imagine that I shouldn't be able to) It feels like sometimes something gets stuck and it kind of pulses and is uncomfortable in an almost painful way (you know what I mean?) This happens quite often in my wrists, fingers, forearms and temples. I was wondering if this is normal (I don't think so because I've never heard anyone mention it) and what couple it be? I don't have any diseases or anything that I know of, so what could it be? I've had this for years (I'm 17 now, I've been getting it for about 10 years). I've never told my doctor because i don't quite know how to explain it. Any help?

Explain it to your doctor the way you just did here.
I'm NOT a doctor, but I've studied a little anatomy at school.

I think the small sphincters in your veins might not be working properly. They are there so that the blood does not flow backwards. (Blood flows more easily when it's just come from the heart. In the veins, though, blood is going BACK to the heart, so the valves are needed.) Yours seem to be behaving erratically. You've had this for most of your life, so you should definitely see a doctor.
Even if someone else gives you a really detailed answer on here, only your doctor can give you a correct diagnosis.

Again... for emphasis...
See a doctor, see a doctor, see a doctor.
