Extreme Restlessness......what helps?!!?!

Question: I'm recovering from a tough knee surgery that I had 2 weeks ago. I'm at the point where the pain is tolerable, its just very stiff. I started to ween myself off the cocktail of pain meds I was on (Vistaril,Percocet, Morphine 60 & 100 mg, Vicodin, & the occasional dose of Diloted).
I feel like I have developed an extremely severe case of restlessness.
I can't sleep, at the most an hour or two. Its not that i'm NOT tired, i'm exhausted. I lay down, but hours later I find myself still awake, flipping around my bed like a fish. Like I have to keep moving, my stomach starts to hurt, everything tightens up & this horrible feeling takes over, then soon enough i've got a migraine.
Ive tried many things to help. Anxiety medicine(Celexa), a light snack, walking around, meditating, even sleep medicines (Trazodone & Unisom). Nothing has helped & i'm out of ideas.

What helps when you are restless?
I'd prefer at home remedies to more medicines. I'm sick and tired of relying on pills!
Thanks!

Well... you can either talk to your doctor and get on a temporay sleeping aid or you can stay restless...

There is no SHAME in what your going through... You had a traumatic surgery and you are sick and tired of being confined... What's with the anger against pills?

Pharmacology exists to HELP YOU. This "They are Unnatural" hippy crap forces a mindset that not only turns people off of "Unnecessarry" drugs but lets them suffer when there is a pill that can be taken short term to help with the problems of NOW.

You are obviously suffering... A few weeks on a sleep aid is nothing to be ashamed of... A few weeks on a sleep aid isn't addicting...

Just go talk to your doctor.

Why put yourself through this?

It is not something that can be "Stopped" until you are healed.
