Pain on my left side.?!

Question: I sometimes get a pain on my left-hand side below my ribs. It usually happens every few weeks and for only a few minutes. Now it has been hurting for more than 10 minutes and hurts worse than normal. It hurts worse when I cough or sneeze or even breathe deeply. I'm 15 and I'm a guy. Any ideas what it is?
