I think i pulled a muscle. Can someone help me??!

Question: 8 days ago, last friday, in my strength training class, we did a lower body workout.
We chose 4 lower body machines, did 2 laps on the track for a warm up (its an indoor track, so 8 laps=1 mile) then did 10 reps on a machine then did a lap, until we had done 14 laps (including the warmup) and 30 reps on each machine. So, i ended up running almost 2 miles. well on monday, the next day i had the class, we did lunges and when i tried to use my right thigh muscle, it gave out and i almost fell over.
Our wednesday class was ok, because i didnt really have to use that muscle for anything besides walking. However, on Friday, yesterday, we did 15 sets of bleachers. On the very first one, I took a step down and felt it rip. i had to sit down. the pain was EXCRUCIATING. I let my coach know and she gave me a break. When i woke up this morning, it was horrible. i have to limp everywhere and it hurts horribly. Any suggestions as to what might have happened?

DUDE. i feel your pain. >.<

anyways, you should get it to a doctor. i don't know how it works with muscles, but that's the best way. DOCTOR >.<

Try not to move too much about for the next few days. Apply some oilment and rub gently over the affected area. It will soon heal.

This happens to me very often as well. Cut down on your reps in the area were the muscle is pulled and use less weight till it is okay. Rub in Ben Gay or a sports cream and repeat until it is gone. Normally, the pain will be gone in a few days. Then gradully work your way back up slowly as to not do it again.

I deffinately think it sounds like a pulled muscle. You may have weakened it first then pulled it.

Take a break for a few weeks until the pain stops and you feel that you are able to use it again. If the pain is really bad you might want to see a doctor.

Hope you're better soon!
