Chest mucus?!

Question: Hi,
My question is this, I went to have chiropractic treatment for my back yesterday, as I breathed in deeply and breathed out every last bit of air in my body the doctor cracked my back, this is usual but afterwards I seemed to have loose mucus in my chest. I also have a slight flutter in my chest, now the flutter could simply be panic as other things that went on that day. Anyway could the pressure of being cracked loosen up some mucus in my chest? I don't have a cold.

Also I have had my pulse checked by a nurse and it is perfect.

Thank you

The treatment probably loosed some mucous that was already there attached to your lungs. If it is yellow or green you were under the weather a bit and didn,t know it was coming on. Phlem can be caused by allergies and bronchial infections too.

I could be just a mild chest infection...

Had a few bruised ribs, same trouble pal. Better now.

Yes, quite often in older people with chest infections they will be given physiotherapy on the back to loosen mucus in the chest.

So if you had phlegm in your chest the chiropractic session could have loosened it up!

you may have a little upper respiratory infection going on.go to the doctor and have it checked out.

this is not going to be pleasant answer but i personally had the problem of this and tough my self to stop doing it naturally.

when you sniffle and swallow the Flem then this goes onto your chest and when you cofe it comes out as green or clear
depending on how long has it been in your system other wise thats it as far as i personally no so stop swallowing flem/mucus and always keep my nose clean regular 3 times a day and it does stop.its natural to do it but it can be a health problem two you because that mucus is not doing your lungs right the mucus if left is a light green color and sometime if you have a runny noise is clear .
but always either spit it out or blow it out it will take between a couple of days upto two weeks to get it out of your system.
good luck
