Why can't i sleeeeep?!


Question: the past week or so i cant sleep for nothing i will just lay in bed all night if i actually go to bed i usually just stay up and clean or watch tv, but even the next day after i haven't slept more then a couple hours i am still full of energy all day, i have recently lost 20lbs and am eating way better then i used to, could this be causing me to have more energy, and is this something i should worry about, my body needs more sleep then that exspecialy chasing around a baby all day

could be strees, depression... something of that sort.

cut out caffeine, maybe take sleeping pills.

i have the same problem except its been all my life. i seem to have more energy when i sleep less . why i dont know but if u find out e-mail me!

you have a promblem ask a doctor for help... ually you will get that from strress or depression

if you have a baby your body might have got into a ruitine of staying up

get some horlicks when that happend to me horlicks made me drift right away and its really nice choooccoooollaaatteee

i say go see a doctor he might be able to prescribe a mild sleeping pill for you to use and congrats on losing 20 lbs.

well u should have some sleep and dont worry i had the same problem umm try watching tv and that will get u tired well it got me tired or go on the comp try doing something that makes u tired?

Yes, you need to be worried, get to a doctor as soon as possible, for the sake of your health.

Yes of course loosing weight and living healthy will cause you to be energetic but not restless. Trying being a lot more active excercise wise. Swimming for sure will make you tired 1-2 hours a day will make you sleep like a koala up a coconut tree.

I suggest you do some running or something that takes away your energy if you say you have more energy. If you cant go to sleep try drinking a warm drink and run in place for 1 minute then you can fall asleep.

try exercising right before bed.this will tire you out and help you get to sleep

u should do something to expell all that extra energy like run or go to the batting cages

Depends on what you are eating if you are eating lots of carbs then that could be your body's way of working them off. Thought fats can keep you up too, check your food for things that cause energy and insomnia

some people who have changed their daily routines of eating, can have change in sleeping, but if you really need a lot more sleep, you can take a pill, just ask your doctor about pills to help you sleep, the only bad thing about these, if your baby, you say you chase a baby all day, if you do chose to try pills, then it could result in very hard sleeping, thus you may not be able to hear your baby crying or other things.

well..... i had the same problem..... if i drink a lot of coffee or soda..... for the next day, drink only water, milk or juice. and see what heppends.... also, if you are taking allergie medication like claritin (sorry if I spelled that wrong) it will keep you up...... hope this helpd

You might have insomnia, but seeing that you chase a baby around all the time that could have something to do with that. It depends but you might have alot of stress that could keep you from sleeping or you might just be overprotecting of your kid. My Mom said that she couldn't sleep for like a few days at a time when she had me but ya it passed I have a website if you need some alternative medicine it is LEGAL. lol Anyways cya and good luck

insomnia! no, just kidding...maybe. You don't need more sleep. as long as you're getting enough energy, its fine. At different stages of life, diff amounts of sleep are needed. of the 8 hours an avg person sleeps, only 2-3 are really beneficial. the other 5 hours are just intermediate stages of sleep!

I suggest you take advantage of herbs for this purpose.
