start taking over the counter cold and flu meds and i think it is sort of selfish of u to go to work sick and make half the patrons sick as well, but if u need the money that bad go in just make sure u take the meds and drink plenty of fluids tonight no alcohol of any kind and have a good night...

Taking high doses of zinc within the first few hours of feeling sick should help. It will cut down on the severity of your symptoms.

Stay well-hydrated with water, don't drink alcohol, and drink caffeine if you want to get the energy. (Just don't overdo the coffee to the point that you cannot get some quality sleep/rest tomorrow.)

OK this sounds weird but I, and a lot of cultures, swear by this. Boil some water for tea but put a clove of garlic in it while it's boiling. I usually chop it up into two or three pieces. Then make your tea with lemon and honey, leaving the garlic in. I just discovered it last week when I had a cold and couldn't even sleep because my nose was so clogged. I drank it and woke up fine. I've been drinking it every night since just cause it's good for you. It actually tastes pretty good.

I'd take Alieve if possible and a decongestant. Advil with some spare in my pocket if Alieve not available. The decongestant to keep me awake. And again, spare in my pocket if necessary. Don't forget to stay super hydrated. Good luck tonight.

take 3 paracetamol, and another 3 after 4 hrs.
dont do this regularly though.!!!!
i know people will say this is wrong, but then so is drinking more units of alcohol .
drink lots of water, a couple of coffees. your shift will finish before you know it.
get better soon!!
