Has anyone done this before that has a short temper.................?!
Question: i went to watch my d.v.d last nite...iput the disc in turned it on .....nothing....tried again....nothing....i lost my temper thinking it was broken got a hammer from the garage and smashed it....the thing was in bits...but i noticed with the bit that was left i had put the d.v.d upside down.....seamanab

Oh Honey... I have trouble with modern technology too. It seem to know that I don't understand and does it's best to P!ss me off.
I have never smashed anything with a hammer... Picked it up and dropped it a couple of time. This I have found out is not a good idea with CD player with multi disc turn table as the get caught inside and jam the door closed!
lol no but i have punched and hit my dvd player when something like that happens lol.
I can be quite rough with my remote controls, bashing them against things, before realise I am using the wrong one and the sky one will not work on the VCR
lol, that is a good one. It is okay you have been through quite a bit and I know that when that happens our frustration level is high. A long time ago, I put a golf club through a window just out of frustration. I was a pretty wild child back then!
You just werent patient enough... not much into dvd..I hope you didnt smasn too much..I dont have a good temper either join the club..Ummm i bet after you turned the disk over it didnt do any good either.. I hate new tech..I was just gettin use to video's and cd.. and here we go again.. HD is next and i am lost as a goose here.Just today one of my taped video's got somehow loose in side the player.. and i ripped the SOB out and somehow spliced it with tape to get it working.. so see.. i dont have patience either..
THere you go ole boy.. gotta watch how you put those disc in.. Umm that seems to be my problem also.. puttin things in the wrong way..Seems to me like you didnt have you dang glasses on or you musta had too much too drink.. Gotta have a clear mind when u go to messin with technoligy. I still dont have the hang of new stuff either. Barely can get somebody to AI a cow for me.. LOL
