Natural Headache Relief?!

Question: Any ideas?

Answers: Any ideas?

i find that drinking a tall glass of water helps. Of course your basic over the counter meds , extra strength tyleno rapid release capsules, a moist warm to hot wash cloth placed on the back of your neck, and maybe a little tension massage around the temples and neck. Also after doing this rest and relax, try to meditate and you could always PRAY. There is power in Prayer. I ll pray for YOU too.

Sleep and less movement.

ok i get migraines all the time. if this works i call dibs on bets answer =] ok you can either sleep, or caffeine like coffee or chocolate your choice but sleep is the best thing for it

I've heard (I don't know if it really works or not) you can try putting peppermint oil on your temples and a cold cloth on your neck. Seems like it might help a little.

Squeezing one of your thumbs with your other fist will give temporary relief, I think it draws the blood to the thumb and away from the head or something.

yes..hopefully you have some kind of big elastic..thing. like a big rubber band (although i doubt you have a big enough rubber band.)

here basically what i heard is that you put whatever you find on a doorknob right? and shut the door..you want to put it on the opposite side of whatever side of the door your on.
then put the band or whatever your using on your head and stretch it out and just work against the resistance of it trying to constrict.

hopefully i explained that right

If somebody massages the base of your neck, it usually does the trick.
and - sleep!!!!

Hi. I would suggest making some regular lipton tea. But listen to me dont boil the water and then pour it in a tea cup and call it a day....nope. Here's what you do.

Grab your kettle...take your tea cup and fill it and pour it in the kettle. If you plan on having 2 cups then add another tea cup full.

Let the water in the kettle get hot enough to where you think its just about to boil. Add 2 tea bags. Let it boil with the tea bags.

After that grab a cinnamon stick. Yes a cinnamon stick. Pour the tea in your tea cup and take the cinnamon stick and stir the tea with the stick. After you have done that for a minute...leave the cinnamon stick in the tea and add maybe a teaspoonful of honey. Do not add milk or cream. It will make is worst. And FYI stay away from dairy when you have a headache or cold. Try it...I promise you will feel great within the first minute.

XoxO renee

hope you feel better. and p.s.s. go to bed early tonight.

squeeze the skin between your thumb and index finger, towards your hand a bit, so you are actually squeezing muscle and not just skin. Sometimes works for me. A cold compress on my forehead or neck also help. Good luck

chew on a weeping willow branch....no-sorry...I think willow IS a natural pain reliever--but how does one measure how much bark to eat so yo get enough-or not too much..

I use an ice pack-but maybe warm works better for you--turn out the lights-and make all my muscles relax-start with your feet-and gradually move to your legs-thighs--let every muscle sag--and feel heavy..pretend you're sagging into marhmellows....

Feel better...

Many.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Hot water bath will help if coughing.
Pl try cold water bath if in hot country.
Massage with Sun bath is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.
