Mysterious Bump...please help diagnose!?!
Question: I got a bump on my hand the other day and I don't know what it's from. I remember putting lotion on my hands and it was not there and then two hours later my mom pointed it out so it came on very quickly. You can press on it and even if you press around the sides it kind of moves. There is no discoloration around so I know it's not a blood vessel. Also I didn't hit my hand on anything. I have a few pictures below so you can see the size and location

If you can please tell me what it is...I'd rather know what it is than just be told to go to the doctor. Thanks!

oh dont worry about it. I had this before and its called mast tissue. you can get rid of it by continuous massage every night. I AM TELLING YOU NOW.....THAT IS NOTHING BUT AN ORDINARY BENIGN CYST!!!!

I know someone who had the same thing
She got hers from driving too much and placing her hand on top of the steering wheel too much
She had to get it surgically removed.

It may be an allergy or something. Please, get it checked!
Um allergies? Try a Mayo clinic book. My mom has one, and there are tons of things that can cause that. It's a really good book to have i just don't have one yet
It looks like hives (allergic reaction) but a very minor effect. There may have been something in the lotion... is it an old bottle? or... have you let it sit directly in a sunny area for a long period of time?
either way, its obvious you need to go to the doctor... but i would probably say it's a minor allergic reaction
It's against the law for people to diagnose a medical condition without a liscense. Even a doctor wouldn't diagnose you without an examination. I'm afraid you are going to have to go to a doctor to find out for sure. You can go to JustAsk.com and get some advice there. They have doctors on line who might help. Good luck.
Maybe the lotion that you put on you might be allergic to it.
That is a Ganglion Cyst and they won't go away but if ever it gets red and your hand really hurts you need to be seen but, everthing looks to be normal to me. I have them on both of my hands. Hope this helps....Ganglion Cyst Overview
A ganglion cyst is a tumor or swelling on top of a joint or the covering of a tendon (tissue that connects muscle to bone). It looks like a sac of liquid (cyst). Inside the cyst is a thick, sticky, clear, colorless, jellylike material. Depending on the size, cysts may feel firm or spongy.
Looks like it could possibly be a cyst, which you just go to the doctor to have drained, or a boil, which is caused by staph infection. If it is a boil, just wait until it has a head then lance it with a sanitized blade and squeeze the puss out. Any time you touch the boil or the puss that comes out of it you risk infecting another part of your body (and you do NOT want one of those on your face..) so make sure you are constantly washing your hands. You can also use colloidal silver which causes the swelling to decrease and can sometimes cause it to go away altogether. I had one of these on the inside of my throat a few years ago and every time I coughed it would pop and I would get a mouthful of puss followed by spitting up blood and blood draining in my stomach (which is not a pleasant experience). I also had one on my leg, armpit, ***, and nipple. My girlfriend got one on her chin, 2 on her knee, and one on her vajayjay which she had to go to the doctor to get drained because it grew to the size of a golfball. Consider yourself lucky and be cautious.

I think it looks like a Ganglion cyst its a benign lump filled with synovial fluid .Usually caused by strain ,stress to the wrist or can be a sign arthritis .Years ago the doctor use to hit it with a heavy book , i don't know the treatment now days. Good luck
