Black eye question?!

Question: So I kinda hit my nose on the door. I don't know how it happened but it did. And my eyes got all watery, and my nose was actually numb, but I could feel it pulsating, throbbing forever. Under what circumstances would you get a black eye? This happened yesterday, and today my nose is still pretty sore to the touch. I really don't want a black eye, but I don't think I'll get one since its already been almost two days. I won't get one will I?

you aren't going to get a black eye at this point. if it were earlier than 2 days i would have suggested puttin ice on it... now it's just sore- take asprin- (or ibuprofin whatever you like) so the swelling/pain will go down.... you can try putting some the warm there too to promote blood flow= healing faster, like a hot rag. supsicious circumstances though, you hitting a door but not knowing how? hmmmm. hope you feel better and figure out how you did it!

dumbest question i have ever heard.
1. How do you bang your nose on a door
2. If it's been 2 days, why would you suddenly get one
3. If you hit your nose, why would you get a black eye?

IF IT ISNT BLACK BY NOW IT WILL NOT GET THAT WAY......

people get black eyes from contusions from any kind of trauma in and around the eyes. Often blood will drain down around the eyes, giving you a 'black eye'. It happens pretty slowly. If you have any bruising, but no black eye, it probably won't turn into one. You're not alone in hitting your nose on a door, or an idiot, just alittle clumsy.

Maybe depenrds just put ice on it and then it'll decrease the chances.
