Acute intercostal strain?!

Question: Kind of got beat up a little by the cops and hospital staff as a result of my own stupidity. The good news is that I didn't break any ribs. The bad news I'm hurting like hell. The meds the ER doc are helping take the edge off a little but I'm still hurting like hell. Anyone got any suggestions on how to ease some more because to be honest a little sick of feeling like crap right now.

yeah when i get hurt or something bad i take a bath with some epsome salt, it can help ease the bruising and muscle cramps and a lot off stuff.
