What should I do if I accedentally cut myself with a knife while cutting veggies!

If bleeding stops fairly soon (within 10 minutes or so) you need to clean with diluted antiseptic liquid or cream and apply a dressing - nothing that is going to stick to the cut but able to keep the cut sealed and enough pressure to stop the bleeding. Make sure you read the direction of the Antiseptic that you decide to use because many require dilution - they are no good if you use it undiluted. (In fact it can sometimes be worse).

If bleeding doesn't stop you may need to get it stitched so seek professional advice from a Doctor or emergency ward at your local hospital.

Wash the part. Press firmly with clean cotton to stop bleeding. Apply an antiseptic ointment and a Band aid.

Clean the cut and make sure its not to deep. you can put super glue on it to seal it and then throw away the food.
