Knee Pain from Movement?!

Question: I was standing on the sidewalk talking to my friend and another one came on his bike and was going to brake right before he hit us but his brakes dont work see he hit the side of my right knee and pushed my knee down at an angle while my foot was planted. Ever since i have had sharp pains in my knee and when i try to jump it hurts severely to a point of taking my breath away. I am concerned i may have torn ligaments or broken something Help Please?

I would see a doctor and get an MRI done, it's really the only way to tell. You could have torn a ligament. The way you describe the injury I would guess an LCL or MCL, and possibly Meniscus or other cartilage damage.
For now, ice the knee several times a day, take Ibuprofen directed by an adult, keep the leg elevated when possible, with ice, use a knee brace all day, and DEFINITELY AVOID UNECESSARY ACTIVITY, like jumping, running, stairs, etc.

i would go to a chiropractor and have him put it back in place.

I have listed websites below about knee injuries.

It is possible that you have torn the ligaments in your knee ... especially with a planted foot injury. Schedule an appointment with an Orthopedic. Based on your exam, he may send you for an MRI ....
