Headache problems?!

Question: On Monday, I hit my head really hard on a hand drier while I was cleaning the bathrooms where I work. At the time I went quite dizzy and last night I had a real throbbing headche that seemed worse if I bent down. I noticed the a slight pain in my neck aswell. My headache is coming back again now (it seems to be happening in the evenings) and it's quite a severe headche it's actually starting to scare me. Is it possible I have done some damage from what happened on Monday? Thanks x

Very possible, If it gets worse I would go to the emergency room. If it continues tomorrow I would call my doctor and say it's an emergency and talk to them.

The danger is having a hemorrage, and that blood putting pressure on the brain.

I don't want to scare you, it's probably nothing and you'll be fine. Just the same it's not something to take lightly. Call your doctor in the morning and talk about it.

It's very possible - go to your nearest A&E.

It sounds possible - i'd get an appointment at the Dr Monday morning.

Possibly... I'd check with my doctor, or at the very least go to the symptom checker on webmd.com

You may have a concussion go to the dr asap

I think you have probably pulled a muscle in your neck or something. Go to the doctors and see what they say. Better be on the safe side. Hope you feel better soon

It sounds as though you might have concussion but it is really important with h ead injuries to GET IT CHECKED OUT by a medical professional asap. As it is Sunday evening so why not start by ringing the NHS Direct helpline 0845 4647 right now. It could be serious and they will advise you whether you need to see someone tonight rather than a gp tomorrow.

It sounds like a bit of whiplash like you would get in car crash. If your quite busy during the day maybe thats the reason its hurts most at night. If its still sore during the week see a doctor if you can.An over the counter painkiller should also help.

You might have a slight concussion, its advisable that you visit the doc as soon as possible without delay.
All the best

If it is worrying you then you should get it checked out. Why don't you NHS direct and get their advice.

If you live quite close to an A&E department it might be easier to go and see them.

You do need to get it checked though.
