How can I make my back feel better?!


Question: I fell asleep on my side on the recliner now my back hurts.

I am going to take some tylenol but that will only help so much.

I threw my back out last Tuesday and am just now starting to feel normal again! So I know how you feel!

I prefer Advil first of all, but if tylenol works for you, stick with it.

Rest by laying on the floor or your bed (sometimes the floor is even better), with your legs supported by a pillow. It takes the stress off your back.

Also, a heating pad while you lay down or sit can really help your muscles relax!

In the future, if you think this is something that may happen again, strengthening the muscles of the back and abs can help prevent reinjury. Also, stretching is very good. Sometimes your leg muscles get tight, which stresses the back and then causes a problem. So something like yoga is ideal, or just plain old-fashioned stretching.

Advil works MUCH better. Take 4 tabs=800 mg then take 2 tabs = 400mg in four hours

get someone to walk on your back.
it might hurt a bit, but boy, it feels good afterward.

but if you don't want anyone's feet on your back, just go to your chiropractor.

Methocarbamol? I think it's called that. You can buy it at the pharmacy, it's called Robaxin or something. Robaxacet also is similar but has tylenol.

It is a muscle relaxer similar to Carisprodol (soma) and Meprobamate (Milltown) I think?

It loosens you up. Might be useful for your back!

take Ur Tylenol.. then
stand with Ur legs apart.. hands on hips.. lean to left as far as u can go.. to the right.. now back now forward..
this is from the waist..

but now..stand straight..
and do the same only with Ur neck.. to the left.. rt... now back now forward..
now lean as far as u can and go in a circle.. work that creek out..
and open up those joints.. spores.. and get that blood pumping..
u will hear Ur neck .. pop... several times.. and that is good.
