What does a physical exam involve?!

Question: I'm not ill, but figured since I now have health insurance, I may as well go for a check-up/general exam. Does a physical exam include blood tests? I think a blood test tells you more about what is going on within your body. Could I get blood tests without the exam?

They usually just cover the basics in a check up. Height, weight, look in your ears and nose, that type of stuff. They take a history too. If they think there's a reason to take a blood test they will. Or if you're worried about something talk to the Dr.
