Spinal compression?!

Question: as a kid my back got injured, i believe, i never got it checked out or told my parents. my feet were forced upwards while i was standing up.and i felt my spine move upwards and i heard a cpl cracks i fell backwards but was able to move after a cpl mins. couldn't run or jump or turn quickly for a cpl yrs. now 23 it hurts now and then when i fall on my back or turn a certain way.i recently fell on my back this weekend and it hurts to take a deep breath or turn or bend down to pick sumthing up. did i reinjure myself. i read a lil bit and i think it's either called "spinal compression" or "axial loading" when the spine is squished while standing up but rather than the force coming down on my head it came upwards from my feet, doing the same damage. did i break any bones or crush any vertaebrae? my injury is about 12 years old and i think i might have hurt it again. can it be fixed? " i think i need a backiotomy " <--i know, not a real word.

You are advised to consult your orthopedic and neuro surgeons immediately without further loss of time for a detailed examination and necessary treatment.

you need x-rays of your spine to detect any disc problems

[u said u read a lil bit yourself]
i think u should see a doctor who can take x-rays, mri, or a cat scan to further diagnose the problem
he can also tell u how to prevent injuring yourself further
...and yes...he can prescribe backiotomy
