What causes Fainting at a funeral? seroius answers only pls...?!

Question: I fainted & hyperventaled at my best friends funeral a few weeks ago when I walked up to his casket I was about to touch his sleeve or say something I passed out cold fell to the floor like a ton of bricks I couldnt help it I felt so weird like my legs gave out & I was in shock!
then when my fiance & the man who worked there got me up I couldnt really remember what happened, as I was walking into the other room I collapsed onto floor face first again
My fiance says I went into shock seeing someone so close dead like that
then they gave me water & I sat there dazed for about 15-20 minutes

shock.. many times the death, especially of someone close isnt real to you on a subconcious level until you see the person dead before they are buried.

medications (drugs - this might not be taken by your concent ) , anaemia , pregnancy , hypoglycaemia , fasting , malnutrition , menorrhagia ( lot of periods blood )
but the 1st 3 are common

You experienced a traumatic event; especially cause this was your best friend. I had the same experience when my cousin died.
