stop wearing high heels

My back does the same sort of thing - usually due to poor posture.

I'd reccomend seeing a doctor, but if you dont want to see one - perhaps an osteopath? someone who can see if its muscular or skeletal.

Total rest to see if its sprained anywhere, after a couple of days if there is no change you need a doctor.

The best thing to do is for you to see a doctor whether you like it or not, but sometimes by doing some yoga exercise like bending backward would help. But you have to do it real slow or it will hurt more. When I got pain in my back, I just go for a massage or lay down or sleep on really flat surface floor.

i got a friend feel the same to..he is a photogtapherdue to his gadget...
i recomend him nefful ion negative waist supporter and undershirt.he felt great wen he use it the 1st time.

I have bad back problems as well and I have to take prescrition pain medicine.I know you said you hate doctors but if you want relief you may have to go see one.

doctors know all about these sorts of things, so if you want to get your problem resolved- i would go see one of them. your pcp doc can refer you to a specialist, or if you can just go to a sports medicine doctor/neurologist/or orthopedist. there is always the ER but you wont get any drugs there (at least you shouldnt) and would be more appropriate if you 'threw' your back out rather then a chronic problem.

by the way- it sounds like a disc problem to me. i would suggest using 20 min. ice then 20 min. heat. doans back pills work the best as far as otc anti inflammatory go. stay away from caffeine too.
