Could be so many things. Don't believe it if your Doc says its only a virus (thats what my old Doc would always say and I had anemia..thats low iron in the blood). The best advice I could give you would be to ask him to check your glands at your throat for enlargement, and to get a blood test to check for;
under-active thyroid, anemia, diabetes, electrolyte imbalance, or infection.
All these are treatable.

have your potassium checked

sounds like diabetes to me, but Im no doctor, my mum had those symptoms before she was diagnosed

#1, I'd have your blood sugar chescked. Could be diabetes.

#2, hormones. Estrogen fluctuations, particularly, do horrible things to mood.

I know it's cliche, but regular exercise can help with both of those.

Good luck with your appointment, I hope it's something easy. :o)

diabeties

Thirst is a big symptom of diabetes. Fatigue can be thyroid problems, or it could also be diabetes. You could just have a little cold or something. Or you could be pregnant.
