Appendix? constipation? I'm confused.?!
Question: At 4 AM today, I woke up to extreme stomach cramps. Like, these were not your average period cramps and I'm not even due and that can't be it. I tried going back to sleep but the pain was bringing tears to my eyes. After like 5 minutes of trying to sleep I got up to go to the bathroom because I suspected that was the problem but absolutely nothing was happening. I could not have a bowel movement and trying to having one was excruciating pain. LIke it felt as though my stomach was being stabbed repeatedly and twisting into knots. The pain was only in my stomach and is still excruciating! It's 4:38 AM now and I've been up trying to deal with this for 38 minutes. ANyone have any ideas? = /.

If it's appendicitis the pain should be around the right side of your stomach. If it's not, there is still a possibility, and sometimes it is very difficult to pass bowel movements with an inflamed appendix. I would say definitely go see a doctor as soon as you can! Feel better soon!
if it is that bad i would seek medical attention. Sounds like you might have a burst appendix..... HORRIBLE FEELING!
my apendix was removed and the test the dr gave me was stand on tiptoes and then let your weight drop on your heals. If this impact hurts, it's a sign it could be the appendix. If you suspect that, don't hesitate to go to a dr. That is a very serious thing. I don't want to scare you but you don't want to have that and not go to a dr. good luck

Sounds kind of like an ULCER. Can be very painful. Like getting stabbed. It *is* acid eating your flesh.

I had that a few weeks ago.
I turned out to be middle ____ (some german word)
Its excruciating pain, in the lower abdomen, I almost passed out to the pain!
Its supposed to happen in the middle of ovulation or something.
I went to the doc, and he told me to have some nurofen (paraceatemol) and it helped.
I also had a large glass of warm water, and kept a waterbottle on my tummy.
If its on the right, lower side of your tummy, its going to be your appendix.
