What's wrong with me? I need medical help.?!

Question: Out of nowhere I get this pain in the right side of the middle part of my back. I don't feel like anything that severe but its enough to make you uncomfortable. I was just wondering about it, because I know I just drank 2 glasses of pepsi and ate a sandwich.. this was the only thing I had all day besides water. I sleep on my other side basically or on my back so I dont understand. The thing is, it came out of nowhere. Felt a little piercing. I just doing slow breathings right now. I really dont know if that would help but anything to calm it so I can go to bed. Anyone have any suggestions, answers, input, anything

Could it be your kidney's? When my husband had a kidney infection, he had back pain in the same area you are describing. When he went to see the doctor, she did something like a light karate chop to that area (firm, but light) and he said it was extremely painful when she did that...but it was just an uncomfortable back ache prior to that.

It could be one of about thirty or forty things. If it persists, go to
the doctor.
If it gets really painful, go to the hospital.

here are some links that will help you. It's great, free, medical professional information.
