Constipation help with a 13 1/2 month old?!
Question: he has trouble to go to the bathroom and his doctor precribed stool sofener and it does not work on him til i gave his alot of it and i need to find something else for him when he can't go.

Well maybe you need to give him more fiber.
Same thing with my doctor. I had to go to bran cereal and cut prunes up very very tiny and call them candy pieces. He gets candy at grandma's house so this was a treat at home. My children love diary and drink lots of milk so I try to counter balance it will 100% whole wheat bread and bran foods.
Try to limit the B.R.A.T. foods-
bananas, rice, apples w/o skin and white breads/toast.
You should try prune juice. I gave it to my nephew and it worked like a charm.
