Chilblains..any good cures?!

Question: my hubby has chilblains really bad on his feet and cant see the doctors till thursday, any ideas on anything that may help until then, thanx

They claim that the best cure is to soak them in his own urine! Don't ask me why but it is supposed to clear them up really quickly!
