Lower back pain associated with vicodin usage?!

Question: I have been having miagraines lately and using vicodin to help with the headaches. Now my head has stopped hurting but my lower back is killing me. If I put hands on my back with my fingertips on the little dimples, the pain is where my palms rest on my lower back (if that makes sense to anyone).
I have a feeling it has something to do with taking all those vicodin. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

It's not the hydrocodone. While you were taking the vicodin it may have been masking the pain in your back.

I have been taking hydrocodone along with several other pain medications for a spine injury. I am in a pain management program so I am in contact with a lot of people that take drugs like vicodin every day. I've never heard of anyone saying they had back pain after stopping taking the medication.

Here are a few links that may help you figure out the problem and treat it. This is a good source for medical professional information as opposed to advice form just anyone that owns a computer and can access Yahoo. Good luck

most drugs can damage liver and kidneys. this is also where you describe the pain. have it checked out by a doc.
