Mix fresh lemon, ginger and honey with hot water and drink 3 -4 times a day.
Take vit c twice a day
drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep
Hope you get better soon x

Take alot of vitamin C. I would also recommend taking some hot tea with honey in it for the throat. I think sleep and so good old O.J will do the trick.

2 weeks with treatment, 14 days without it. Take GARLIC everyday. Double dose when you feel like your getting a cold. Haven't had one in 20 yrs. myself.

hot whiskey, sweat it out works 4 me good luck you poor thing!

No - it will go in its own time.

In the mean time you can alleviate the symptoms by doing some exercise or watching something funny on TV.

Tea with honey and lemon. GO TO SLEEP. SLEEPPPPP!!!!!!!

Depends are you allergic to anything. If you have an infection you may need some antibodics. You should go to the doctor if not take dayquil and lots of vitamin c. make sure to drink lots of fluids.

taking all the vitamin C in the world is proven to only shorten your cold for up to half a day. but one of the best ways to get rid of it more quickly is to drink HEAPS of water. drink at least 1 litre a day, as well as cups of echinacea tea. hope you fell better!

I personally, and I don't know if this works for everyone, but I get over colds a lot quicker if I keep working. Staying home and in bed all day just drags it out forever. Maybe I'll take 1 day off (usually the 2nd and worse day of the cold) but I try to stay active. And I get a gallon of orange juice and drink the whole damn thing. Usually when I have a cold I find I don't like to eat much, I'm never hungry and food usually doesn't taste very good. But I find if I DO make myself eat, I end up feeling a lot better.

So I would say, get a little more rest at night, but stay active during the day, drink lots of OJ, and don't skip out on meals.

Same as you, ive got one too, and have plans this weekend and want to get rid of it.

A steam bath - a bowl filled with hot steaming (not boiling water) will help. Place your head or the bowl and drape a towel over your head and inhale the steam, this will make your eyes , nose run but this will clear out the passages. DO NOT USE BOILING WATER - otherwise you my scald yourself. This method has been used for decades.

Well if you stay in bed until the weekend!

Vitamin C, regular paracetamol and plenty of fluids ... I sympathise about you not getting paid if you're not at work, but it may be better to have a couple of days off to get over it properly, especially as you're likely to spread it around!
Hope you feel better soon XXX

I read in a magazine that once you've brushed your teeth put your tooth brush in boiled water for a few minutes, which stops your tooth brush harbouring germs.
hope this helps =]
