Any tips on sleep avoidence for 48 hours?!


Question: Hi, I'm taking part in a 24 hour show for charity for a local radio station (i'm a DJ). I am asking if any of you brain boxes out there have any tips for staying awake for 48 hours without feeling s**t afterwards and/or during.

Be sure to eat nutritious energy producing foods. Staying hydrated is very important also. For myself, staying awake for 48 hour+ is a state of mind - I just convince myself I'm not sleepy, or that I absolutely cannot go to sleep and it works. I don't think that would work for everyone though.

Eat 3 meals/day. drink coffee...take No Doz.. you may get a little wound up but not as much as energy drinks.

Eat protein & fruits as snacks.

The most important thing is to keep taking it till you can go to sleep or crash (sleep).
