Question: My arms hurt from badminton! The shoulder parts more than anything.......My friends from gym also say it hurts for them. I can barely run w/o atleast a little pain after those painful running excercises though lol

What should I do? get used to it?? ..It has been a LONG time since I played badminton or run that much

Hey don't worry....
How are you feeling now?
When you play after some time your muscles wont take it first. If you keep playing every day it will go away. Ask your friends who go to gym they would have faced the same issue but after going regularly it would go away.
The shoulder is the most used part it badminton. Its called Trapezius. The back muscle is little sensitive also. Ask you friend to take 2 pesil and touch your back either one or 2. you can not understand how many are there.
Leave that part :) Coming back to your problem. Have you ever seen a person going to gym for the first time. The body will be hurting for at least a week :P. He will be mostly wont be able to keep arms straight down ( i mean attention position) it will go away if you do it regularly.
In your case play regularly it will go away :P. If you want go and meet a doctor. Mostly they will say the same thing. My mom and dad says it always.

PS: Both my parents are doctors.

Take some advil, take a hot bath to relax the muscles, try icing it after wards, you can put a hot pack on your shoulder, this should help, just rest it p.

Ice for 48hrs after, then heat. REST

you may have fractured something and have a high tolerance for pain. you need an x-ray

Please dont take a risk of listening to the people here, please contact a trained doctor or specialist....

I hope you get cured
