This ISN'T carpal tunnel, since your pinky and the outside half of your ring finger are innervated by the ulnar nerve, which doesn't pass through the carpal tunnel. It's the nerve that sends that tingly feeling when you hit your funny bone.

You probably have nerve compression somewhere. Do you have your elbows bent for long periods of time, i.e. when sleeping or resting on your desk? It could also be something internal, such as a cyst or infection. Try ibuprofen to take the swelling down and if it gets painful, affects your arm function, or doesn't go away within the next week, go see your doctor.

Your doctor can check for nerve compression through physical examination and x-rays. Treatment my include wearing a splint at night to keep your arm straight or, in extreme cases, minor surgery.

P.S., Carpal tunnel will have the same tingly feeling but on your thumb, your first two fingers and half of your ring finger. Repetitive strain is usually the culprit, but there are tons of other causes. Diagnosis and treatment are similar to ulnar nerve compression.

You should talk to your doctor or seek professional medical help. Although a doctor may not be able to treat what is specifically wrong, he may send you to a specialist.

Um...why dont you go to a "free" clinic..? Consultation shouldnt be that much..

Might be carpal tunnel syndrome or it could be related to your being over weight. You need to consult with a physican.

It sounds very familiar! Did you do anything to your neck in the last couple of weeks? You should have a doctor take a look at it and gets some xrays! I have two broken vertebrae in my neck and I had the same sensation in both hands! You really should have xrays a find out what's wrong!!! Good luck.
