Ar MAN! My face is killing me - help?!

Question: Im in pain.
It feels like my face needs to explode. The right side all down the side is throbbing, and feels full of pressure.

When I chew it hurts, as the jaw clicks when I chew. Also it feels like a ear infection. It also feeles a bit like tooth ache all combined into one really painful face. To top it off just above my eyes is hurting a lot on right side also, like pressure and when I massage it it hurts.

What the hell could be causing this?

Could it be sinuses? This is disgusting but I was sick the other day and I was holding my nose to stop it going into myu nose. Ould I have forced some of the sick into my sinuses and now its infected? This is the only thing I can think off.

It could be an abcess in your ear. I had one a while back and had pain all down one side of my face and into my neck, it was agony, I couldn't believe it came from my ear! The best bet is to visit your doc first (as he is free if you're in the UK) then try the dentist if the doc thinks it is a tooth abcess. Either way it does sound like you need some antibiotics.

Take some painkillers, try to get a good nights sleep and make an appointment tomorrow, tell the receptionist it is urgent.

Good luck xx

From what you stated it looks like tooth infection deeply rooted inside and this can spread the pain to the ear, the eye and the nose and throat also. Since you say it is the right side it could be one of the gums on the right side. Try applying clove oil to the teeth and gums on the right side both on the upper jaw and the lower jaw one by one . The moment you feel the pain subside that means the gum you have recently applied is the culprit. However going to an ENT doctor would solve all your problems.

Could be your tooth - could be your ear. Have you got, or had toothache recently? Get it checked with the gp - you may need antibiotic.
